Coaches Of Collins Hill 2008

Varsity Boys: Stan Carpenter
Ryan Sutton-Varsity Assistant. |
Coach Carpenter has been the boys coach for 7 seasons
and will be going into his 8th. In 2003, the virtually
unheard of boys program went from a 6-11 team in 2001 and 2002 to an
11-4-3
team and ranked 8th in the state in 2003. They picked up added bonuses by giving
Parkview, ranked #1 in the nation, their first loss of the 2003 season as
well as defeating 2003
State Champs, Shiloh. In 2004 the 14-4-3 team barely missed the
State Playoffs by one game and in 2005 the 14-2-3 team qualified for State
for the first time in School History and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen.
Since then the Collins Hill Eagles have consecutively made an appearance in the State
Tournament in 2006 and 2007. Coach Carpenter came to CHHS from Shiloh High School where he worked with the girls program for 2 years and the boys program for 4 years from 1995-2000. Coach Carpenter likes enjoys spending time with his family and riding dirt bikes on his spare time. Varsity Wins at Collins Hill- (68-52-6 ) 2000-2007

Coach T. is beginning his fourth season with Collins Hill. Prior to coming to Collins Hill he coached at Dacula High School where he worked with the JV Boys program for three years and prior to that he coached the JV boys at Central Gwinnett. He currently holds his National License, USSF National Youth License and teaches Elementary PE across the street from Collins Hill at Walnut Grove. He also coaches in the academy for the Dacula Soccer Association and has coached girls select at Dacula too. Coach T is extremely happy to be at Collins Hill and have the opportunity to work with such a talented group of soccer players. We are looking forward to building a successful girl’s soccer program that will compete year in and year out for the region title and state championship. It is my feeling with the talent pool at Collins Hill we will be very competitive for years to come and I’m dedicated to doing whatever I can to help bring this about.
